Our Community
Early Years learning is a time of growth and discovery. Our community-oriented College is a place where our students, staff and parents are encouraged to collaborate, support one another and learn from each other.
Sholem embeds a positive school culture and ‘Values for a Lifetime’ in a secular environment. We foster a love of Jewish life and learning as well as the Yiddish and Hebrew languages. Moreover, as a Lead School in the State Government’s Respectful Relationships Program, we instil in our student's confidence and respect.
In partnership with parents, we create a supportive learning environment, invested in student success. This collaborative approach is further enhanced by our dynamic Transition Program, which provides students and families with a sense of community and belonging at all stages of a child's educational journey.
With an emphasis on unity, we aim to foster a sense of belonging and connection by creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
“Sholem is an inclusive community, one that values and respects the diversity of its members and creates an environment where everyone feels welcome and included, regardless of their background, beliefs, abilities or differences.” Helen Greenberg, Principal.
